Some major advertisers, including Dyson, Mazda, and Forbes, have suspended their marketing campaigns or removed their ads from parts of Twitter because their promotions appeared alongside tweets soliciting child pornography. Others affected were PBS Kids, Disney, Coca-Cola, whose corporate ads appeared in tweets with words such as “rape” and “teens.” One user tweeted searching for content of “Yung girls ONLY, NO Boys,” which was followed by a promotion for a Texas-based children’s hospital.
