The recent Working Document for the 2023 Synod on Synodality claims to be rooted in the ecclesiology of Vatican II. The evidence says otherwise. The late Cardinal Pell was wrong: this is not “one of the most incoherent documents ever sent from Rome.” It is the most incoherent ever.
