Today marks one year since the beginning of the full-scale Russian war against Ukraine. A 12-hour prayer marathon is ongoing and hopes to unite in prayer the faithful on all continents. “Let this day be an opportunity for us to do good for someone: to comfort the afflicted, to clothe the naked, to warm those who are freezing, to feed the hungry,” said His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
