Catholic Laity and Clergy for Renewal (CLCR), a Denver-based non-profit that works to provide information about behaviors that strongly suggest individual priests are regularly violating their promise of celibacy. Some object that CLCR’s monitoring of dating apps violates privacy. But violations of the promise of celibacy is primarily about the integrity of the Church’s leadership and its ability to remain true to its own standards and commitments.
