State of Washington bill allows transgender interventions on minors without parental consent

A Washington State bill that would strip parents of their right to intervene in their own kids’ medical care has passed the House, and awaits the signature of Gov. Jay Inslee. Medical procedures covered include “gender-affirming” care. Said one opponent of the law, “In the dystopian nightmare we are in, if a parent doesn’t use the child’s chosen pronoun or name, they are labeled dangerous.”
