Nebraska passes first-ever school choice bill

The Nebraska Legislature on Wednesday passed a bill that would create the first school choice program in the state’s history. Gov. Jim Pillen, R-NE, is expected to sign the bill, LB753, into law. Also known as the “Opportunity Scholarship Act,” the law will create a $100 million tax credit scholarship program.
