Everybody has heard Protestant denominations are losing membership at an alarming rate. But one graph brings it clearly into focus: the demographics of membership growth/decline between 1987 and 2021. Only two denominations have grown: Assemblies of God (AoG) and Presbyterians (PCA), and the former hasn’t grown in a while and the latter is almost too small to count.
