Ahead of the October Synod on Synodality, Archbishop Mark Coleridge (Brisbane) warns that the Church will need to “look quite different” to flourish, and has proposed an exemption for Indigenous priests and says it is necessary because there is “no way you’re going to recruit a celibate clergy in those cultures.” [1]
