From Ukraine: a critique of the pope’s pacifism

In The Trap of Bleeding-Heart Pacifism, Myroslav Marynovych, vice-rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University of Lviv, writes that, “Pacifism is at least formally based on Christian arguments.” But is it always right? What do Ukrainian Christians have to say in this regard? In the words of Bishop Desmond Tutu: “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”
