Pope Francis opposes the Traditional Latin Mass, but implementation of its restrictions (via the pope’s Traditionis Custodes) is stricter or looser in the U.S., depending on the local bishop. Some bishops are allowing the TLM to continue pretty much as it was. Others, decidedly not so. [1]
