“Gendered” nonsense is dangerous nonsense

Latin America was falling apart politically and economically, one result of which was an unprecedented migrant-and-refugee crisis on America’s southern border, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken sent a cable to American embassies subtitled “Gender Identity Best Practices,” warning against “harmful, exclusionary messages” conveyed by use terms such as “mother/father,” “son/daughter,” and “husband/wife,” ^[1]
