Donald Trump’s ongoing betrayal of the pro-life movement has ignited a fierce debate. MAGA activists say pro-lifers should accept that Trump is far better than his opponent on the issues that matter. This view is wrong and strategically suicidal for the pro-life movement. Just two years ago, vice-presidential nominee J.D. Vance said, “The pro-life position is the pro-people position and I’m proud to be 100 percent pro-life.” Is he still? Mr. Trump doesn’t seem to be, even though he says he’s changed his mind and will vote against Florida’s abortion-till-birth Amendment 4.
