Cardinal Gerhard Muller, the head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, has given several interviews recently in which he has affirmed that there can be no compromise on the indissolubility of marriage or the question of allowing divorced/remarrieds (without annulments) to receive Communion.
