Socialism and Catholicism cannot mix

The heart of the socialist impulse is a structural hostility to the idea of human individuality and an almost suicidal nihilism toward the future of the species. At a time when Democratic presidential candidates blather smoothly on about “democratic” socialism, it’s important to recall the judgments of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn and other victims of godless socialism.
