Irony in John’s Gospel
Msgr. Charles Pope, Community in Mission
Friday, April 3, 2020
In the story of the raising of Lazarus, we find irony: the occasion of Jesus raising a man from the dead causes the Pharisees to plot His death. He who gives life must be put to death.
