Report accuses Benedict XVI of abuse coverup

A new report out of Germany alleges that Joseph Ratzinger mishandled abuse cases while serving as the leader of the Archdiocese of Münich in the 1970s and 80s. Cardinal Reinhard Marx is also named in the report. Several cases involved priests who committed acts of abuse while Cdl. Ratzinger led the archdiocese, and remained in ministry even after they faced criminal punishment in secular courts.
