The trial probing the scandal of the Vatican property deal in London is in hiatus, but will resume soon with more testimony by Cardinal Angelo Becciu. The cardinal may earnestly believe Pope Francis left him holding the bag, and if Becciu feels he has been betrayed, the next chapter of this courtroom drama might well be the most dramatic.
