The pope is aging. The pope is going to L’Aquila, where two previous popes made visits before resigning. A conclave is coming! Sure, eventually, but we should expect Francis to hold on indefinitely. But that won’t stop the speculation about candidates to be the next pope, including by the mainstream media for better . . . or worse.
