Stories about St. John Paul II and sex abuse are unsubstantiated

Poland has recently witnessed unprecedented attacks on the reputation of St. John Paul II. His years as Archbishop of Kraków had enjoyed widespread respect in his homeland. Their repeated assertions that their investigations were meticulously carried out, his attackers have treated hypotheses as fact, used unreliable sources, and have drawn conclusions contrary to the testimony of witnesses.
