A plain reading of Pope Francis’ comments about the Eucharist and the ongoing Eucharistic Revival exposes as ideologically motivated an attack by one Church leader who called the practice of Eucharistic adoration “passive.” Catholics should be striving to take a “both/and” approach with regard to the Eucharistic Revival and the Synod on Synodality.
