Julia Oseka, a Polish native and a student at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, was chosen as one of ten non-bishop voting members from the United States and Canada who will be at the Synod on Synodality. Oseka, a feminist, says she believes women and LGBTQIA+ people should have greater roles in the Church.
