The American Civil Liberties Union used to defend individual liberty. But today, instead of venerating the Bill of Rights, as it used to do, the ACLU is run by a new generation of lawyers that denigrates it as a relic of white supremacy and patriarchy. And as goes the ACLU, so goes the legal profession.
