In survey results released this month, a British Catholic organization, Catholic Union, revealed that more than 60 percent of respondents “said that their physical or mental health had been affected by church closures.” And in the U.S, a Gallup poll showed that fewer Americans are going to church than they did before the start of the pandemic and lockdowns.
