Fr. David Rosenberg, 72, who was ordained only in 2011, has been convicted by a jury on felony counts of embezzlement from a vulnerable adult as well as larceny, taking money under false pretenses, and perjury. In pretrial statements to local press, the priest’s attorney called his client “at worst […] a holier version of Robin Hood.”
