It is a sad fact that there are many pro-lifers who have fought valiantly against abortion yet see no problem with in vitro fertilization. To oppose abortion and favor IVF is the most modern of inconsistencies when it comes to protecting human life. In a sense, IVF “humanizes”—it makes humans. Yet it does so in the most dehumanizing of ways.
