Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago has decided to transition out of 75 government contracts amid what the organization’s leadership calls an “increasingly complex and uncertain government funding environment.” The 75 government contracts Catholic Charities is abandoning had funded 12 percent of its operating budget.
