Carlo Acutis will be canonized after second miracle recognized

Pope Francis has recognized a miracle attributed to the intercession of the Blessed Carlo Acutis and today signed a decree which paves the way for the teenager to become a saint. Acutis, who died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15 and has been called “the patron saint of the internet,” had a particular devotion to the Eucharist and one of his projects was an internet site for eucharistic miracles. He inspired many, including his own parents, with his piety, his love of Jesus, and his kindness and generosity.
