Pope Francis has chosen nuns of the Benedictine Order of the Abbey of Saint Scholastica of Victoria in Buenos Aires to occupy the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery in Vatican City, established in 1994 by Pope St. John Paul II. Benedict XVI lived there from his resignation until his death.
