UK court orders Vatican to turn over messages in “trial of the century”

The Court of Appeal for England and Wales has ordered the Vatican to turn over confidential texts and emails between Italian Cardinal Pietro Parolin and Venezuelan Archbishop Edgar Peña Parra, top officials in the Secretariat of State, pertaining to Secretariat’s disastrous London property deal. But a Vatican official says doing so would constitute a “grave sin.”
